![]() Welcome to the home of the Freelance Crash Course! Here you will find the fastest route to landing some freelance work via the internet. By the way, excuse the simplicity of this site. I did this on purpose. I don't feel that I need to add Flash or amazing graphics or bells and whistles to get my point across. I am a graphic artist and designer, I can pretty this site up, but nah! I like it like this. I want you to focus on what you are reading. By the way, for the sake of introductions, just call me The Freelance Crash Course Guy for now. Who I am isn't of any consequence. Although, the information that I have compiled is extremely important to someone wishing to enter the freelancing way of life. The economy sucks. People are losing jobs. Find a job? How is that possible when jobs are scarce and the available ones are on the decline? Yes, times are tough all over! Many people are looking for a way to increase their monthly income. Just as many are considering a new career path; and there are the special few who are considering getting into freelancing--which is basically working from home or wherever you choose. Freelancers can be found in many fields; from graphic designers such as me, stretching into fields like editing, writing, consulting, talent scouts, finance, on and on. The more in demand your field is the more work you will find. For myself, as a graphic designer, I have had lots of relative success. There seems to be many prospective clients looking to start a business, launch a product, create a business image, etc. There is a lot of work out there. You just have to know where to find it. I do. There is a particular approach to ensuring your success. The advice contained within the crash course will get you up and running in no time! Also, you will have a higher probability of being offered a job than if you were seeking a job through those oversaturated outsourcing sites like eLance or Guru or even Getafreelancer. Most of these sites reek of scam anyhow. Research them and read about the woes being experienced by unemployed freelancers who have made the mistake of signing up with these particular sites. It's a nightmare. I opted to not even attempt to find work through these sites after reading the horror stories. There is just something unsavory to me about them. I am not slandering them, I am merely extracting an inference from reading about personal experiences. Okay, so I didn't go with the bid for a job site... What did I do? I went out on my own and created my own work through a lot of research, determination, trial and error. The freelancing lifestyle has many rewards to go with it. I love it because I have the freedom to work whenever and from wherever I wish. On any given cool west coast morning of my choosing (after rolling out of bed around 9 a.m.), I can sit in my car next to a WiFi hotspot by the beach with my laptop, sipping on delicious coffee... with some music cleansing my soul in the background... all the while, working on a freelance project. I am very thankful for the internet. Without it, my life wouldn't be what it is today. We all have to take advantage of the time which we are so fortunate to live in, and seize any and all opportunities possible. What is my story? A year and half ago I was sort of lost as to what I should do with my talent as an artist. I had sold paintings for the last 8 or so years on eBay (which was good for me). But I wanted more. I had a crappy computer. It was so old! So slow! I couldn't afford to get a new one, let alone consider launching a new career on virtually no money. All my money went to living expenses and staying alive. Do you know the feeling? I had to take the plunge--my options were closing in on me and I had taken charge of my life. I was determined to pull myself out of my situation; and I did. One day I had decided to become a graphic designer. Of all things! Someone who had never been trained in graphics whatsoever? That's just insane. What business did I have trying something like that... all on my own? I had the talent. I knew I had it; which was a starting point. Though, obviously, I didn't have the software, the computer or the experience to embark on such a journey, but I didn't let that deter me. I am stubborn. I am a risk taker. I am an entrepreneur--that's what I am and I believe I have always been one. I take risks. People like me either fail miserably and learn things from my failures or reap the rewards of the risks I had taken. Luckily, the latter happened to me upon deciding to take on the freelance graphic designing field. I put one foot in front of another and taught myself graphic design. Yep, me the freelance graphic artist; all on my 8-year-old relic of a computer and a lot of reading. The point is, anyone can do what I do. It just takes the will power to succeed. Today I enjoy working from home, with a brand new powerful laptop (and desktop), sifting through which freelance offers look appealing enough to take on. I am offered jobs that pay as much as $1500. No joke! That is my life. It's a great one. I do work hard though. It's not Easy Street. It's like any other job, you have to actually work... but I do it from home and I love the freedom that it gives me. I work in my sleepwear often. I answer to no one! Okay, so what am I offering to you? I am offering to show you what I do to facilitate the job offers that come my way. It's not for everyone. I am really speaking to artists such as myself and other professions which can benefit from being shown where and how to advertise for freelance work and what to do to get set up for a career in the freelance field. It's going to cost you though. Why? Because you will be placing ads in the same advertising arena. Why would I want that? I don't! Not only that, I will show you the tricks that keep my ads running around the clock--all for no fees. Free advertising and job offers? YES!
To get my crash course on how to jumpstart your own freelancing mini empire, you can purchase my ebook "The Overnight Freelancer" for $99. Yes, that is what it is worth to me. Why so much? The information will change your life. How much is that worth to you? I thought so. Plus, if it was cheap, how seriously would you take my instruction and wouldn't it suck if just anyone can get a hold of my crash course and utilize it... nudging you out of the way? Basically, I am keeping this ebook exclusive to those who feel it is important enough to spend hard-earned money for it. Essentially, an I-Will-Pay-Whatever-I-Must-in-Order-to-Change-My-Life-Forever! club, if you will. Not only that, the info I stuffed into the ebook is so useful, I feel deep down in my gut that you will be offered a freelance gig in a very short period of time if you do what the instructions tell you. ![]() The crash course is read on your computer and it's around 20 pages of straight-to-the-point information (see, it's not a drag to read). No BS. No bogus fillers. Just the hard facts you can use immediately. The valuable information can reduce my odds of being offered work because I will steer you into my market. Can the ebook benefit other people besides the graphic artist? Yes. I wrote the ebook with the graphic artist in mind and I speak of certain aspects of graphic design (not much though); but the particulars about advertising (which is what most of the ebook covers) can benefit anybody wanting to freelance. Before you decide that you gotta have this ebook, here are some things you will absolutely need:
